Alice was a curious girl, and she loved sitting in the garden after breakfast.

One afternoon, she saw a white rabbit with a pocket watch in the garden.

The rabbit looked more worried than any animal she had ever seen.

"I'm Alice, but everything is so strange here because nothing makes sense," she said.

The caterpillar told her to eat a piece of mushroom before she left.

The next day, Alice followed the white rabbit again and came to a big palace.

In the palace, the Queen of Hearts was playing croquet with her card soldiers.

The Queen was more frightening than anyone Alice had ever met before.

"Off with her head!" shouted the Queen when she got angry at Alice.

But Alice was brave, so she stood up and said, "You are just a pack of cards!"

When she said this, all the cards flew up into the air and disappeared.
