Hamelin'in Alacalı Kavalcısı
There is a small town called Hamelin.
Hamelin adında küçük bir kasaba var.
Many people are living in Hamelin today.
Bugün Hamelin'de pek çok insan yaşıyor.
But the town has a big problem.
Ama kasabanın büyük bir sorunu var.
There are too many rats in the streets.
Sokaklarda çok fazla sıçan var.
The rats are eating the food every day.
Sıçanlar her gün yiyecekleri yiyor.
The people are very scared and unhappy.
İnsanlar çok korkmuş ve mutsuz.
One morning, a colorful stranger comes to the town.
Bir sabah, kasabaya renkli kıyafetli bir yabancı gelir.
He is wearing a red and yellow coat.
Kırmızı ve sarı bir ceket giyiyor.
He is carrying a long, beautiful pipe.
Uzun, güzel bir kaval taşıyor.
He walks to the mayor's house.
Belediye başkanının evine yürür.
"I can take away all the rats," he says.
"Tüm sıçanları götürebilirim," der.
"What do you want?" asks the mayor.
"Ne istiyorsun?" diye sorar belediye başkanı.
"I want one hundred pieces of gold," says the piper.
"Yüz altın istiyorum," der kavalcı.
The mayor is very happy and he promises to pay.
Belediye başkanı çok mutlu olur ve ödeme sözü verir.
Now the piper is playing his pipe in the street.
Şimdi kavalcı sokakta kavalını çalıyor.
The music is very sweet and magical.
Müzik çok tatlı ve büyüleyici.
All the rats are coming out of the houses.
Tüm sıçanlar evlerin dışına çıkıyor.
They are following the piper because the music is beautiful.
Müzik güzel olduğu için kavalcıyı takip ediyorlar.
The piper walks to the river and the rats jump in.
Kavalcı nehre yürür ve sıçanlar atlıyor.
The rats disappear in the deep river.
Sıçanlar derin nehirde kayboluyor.
The piper goes back to the mayor.
Kavalcı belediye başkanına geri döner.
"I am not paying you," says the mayor angrily.
"Seni ödemiyorum," der belediye başkanı öfkeyle.
The piper is very angry but he does not shout.
Kavalcı çok kızgın ama bağırmıyor.
He starts playing his pipe again in the morning.
Sabahleyin kavalını tekrar çalmaya başlar.
Now all the happy children are coming out and dancing.
Şimdi tüm mutlu çocuklar dışarı çıkıyor ve dans ediyor.
They are following the piper because the music is magical.
Müzik büyüleyici olduğu için kavalcıyı takip ediyorlar.
The children are walking far away from the town.
Çocuklar kasabadan çok uzağa yürüyor.
The parents are watching and they are very sad.
Ebeveynler izliyor ve çok üzgünler.
