A poor miller has a beautiful young daughter.
Yoksul bir değirmencinin güzel, genç bir kızı var.
One day, the miller meets the king.
Bir gün değirmenci krayla karşılaşır.
He says: "My daughter can spin straw into gold!"
"Kızım samanı altına çevirebilir!" der.
This is not true, but the king is very interested.
Bu doğru değil ama kral çok merak eder.
The king takes the girl to a room full of straw.
Kral kızı samanla dolu bir odaya götürür.
The girl is sitting alone and she is very scared.
Kız yalnız oturuyor ve çok korkmuş durumda.
She is crying because she cannot spin straw.
Samanı eğiremediği için ağlıyor.
Suddenly, a strange little man is standing at the door.
Birden tuhaf, küçük bir adam kapıda duruyor.
He asks: "Why are you crying, pretty girl?"
"Neden ağlıyorsun, güzel kız?" diye sorar.
She says: "I must spin all this straw into gold!"
"Bütün bu samanı altına çevirmem lazım!" der.
The little man says: "I can help, but what do you give me?"
"Yardım edebilirim, ama bana ne veriyorsun?" der küçük adam.
The girl gives him her pretty necklace and he starts spinning.
Kız güzel kolyesini verir ve o eğirmeye başlar.
In the morning, the room is full of shiny gold.
Sabahleyin oda parlak altınla dolu.
The king is very happy but he wants more gold.
Kral çok mutlu ama daha fazla altın istiyor.
He takes the girl to a bigger room with more straw.
Kızı daha fazla samanla dolu daha büyük bir odaya götürür.
The little man comes again and the girl gives him her ring.
Küçük adam yeniden gelir ve kız ona yüzüğünü verir.
He spins all the straw into gold again.

The king is so happy that he asks the girl to be his queen.

But the little man comes a third time and says: "Now give me your first baby."

The girl is very scared but she agrees because she has no choice.

Today she is the queen, and she has a sweet little baby.

The little man is coming to take the baby.
Küçük adam bebeği almak için geliyor.
He says: "Guess my name and you can keep the baby!"

The queen sends a messenger to the forest every day.
Kraliçe her gün ormana bir haberci gönderir.
One day, the messenger sees a little man dancing and singing: "My name is Rumpelstiltskin!"
Bir gün haberci dans eden ve "Benim adım Rumpelstiltskin!" diye şarkı söyleyen küçük adamı görür.
The next day, the little man is standing in front of the queen.
Ertesi gün küçük adam kraliçenin önünde duruyor.
The queen smiles and says: "Is your name… Rumpelstiltskin?"
Kraliçe gülümser ve "Adın… Rumpelstiltskin mi?" der.
The little man is very angry because she knows his name.
Küçük adam çok kızgın çünkü kraliçe onun adını biliyor.
He stamps his foot and disappears forever.
Ayağını yere vurur ve sonsuza dek yok olur.
The queen keeps her baby and they live happily.
