A small boy named Mowgli lived deep in the green jungle.
Mowgli adında küçük bir çocuk, yeşil ormanın derinliklerinde yaşıyordu.
He was not an animal, but a human child.
O bir hayvan değil, bir insan çocuğuydu.
A kind wolf family found him and raised him as their own.
Nazik bir kurt ailesi onu buldu ve onu kendi çocukları gibi büyüttü.
Mowgli was stronger and faster than most animals in the jungle.

His best friends were Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther.

He went closer and saw Shere Khan, the most dangerous tiger in the jungle.
Daha yakına gitti ve ormandaki en tehlikeli kaplan olan Shere Khan'ı gördü.
Shere Khan was walking slowly and looking for Mowgli.
Shere Khan yavaşça yürüyor ve Mowgli'yi arıyordu.
"I will find that human boy, because he does not belong here," Shere Khan growled.
"O insan çocuğunu bulacağım, çünkü o buraya ait değil," diye hırlıyordu Shere Khan.
Mowgli was scared, so he ran back to Bagheera.
Mowgli korktu, bu yüzden Bagheera'ya geri koştu.
Bagheera listened carefully and then said, "You must go to the human village."
Bagheera dikkatlice dinledi ve sonra şöyle dedi: "İnsan köyüne gitmelisin."
"But I don't want to leave the jungle!" said Mowgli.
"Ama ormanı terk etmek istemiyorum!" dedi Mowgli.
Bagheera put his paw on Mowgli's shoulder and spoke softly.

"You are brave, but Shere Khan is more powerful than you right now."

That night, Mowgli decided to trust his friend, so they started walking together.

Before they reached the village, Shere Khan came and blocked their path.

The tiger stepped back slowly, then turned and ran away into the dark trees.

The next day, Mowgli went to the human village and met the people there.

He learned new things every day, but he never forgot his friends in the jungle.

Sometimes he went back to the forest to visit Baloo and Bagheera.

Mowgli was happy because he belonged to both the jungle and the village.
