There is a tiny boy named Little Thumb.
Little Thumb adında minicik bir çocuk var.
He is very small but very clever.
O çok küçük ama çok zekidir.
He lives with his family in a small house.
Ailesiyle küçük bir evde yaşar.
He has six brothers and they are all hungry today.
Altı erkek kardeşi var ve bugün hepsi açtır.
"What do we eat today?" asks Little Thumb.
"Bugün ne yiyoruz?" diye sorar Little Thumb.
In the morning, his father takes the children to the forest.
Sabah babası çocukları ormana götürür.
The forest is very big and dark.
Orman çok büyük ve karanlıktır.
Little Thumb is scared but he does not cry.
Little Thumb korkmuştur ama ağlamaz.
He is putting small white stones in his pocket every day.
Her gün cebine küçük beyaz taşlar koyar.
Now he is dropping the stones on the path.
Şimdi taşları yola düşürüyor.
The father leaves the children alone in the forest.
Baba çocukları ormanda yalnız bırakır.
The brothers are very scared and they are crying.
Kardeşler çok korkmuştur ve ağlıyorlar.
"Don't cry! I know the way home," says Little Thumb.
"Ağlamayın! Eve giden yolu biliyorum," der Little Thumb.
He follows the white stones and finds the path.
Beyaz taşları takip eder ve yolu bulur.
The brothers are very happy because Little Thumb is so clever.
Kardeşler çok mutludur çünkü Little Thumb çok zekidir.
But now a big giant is living in the forest.
Ama şimdi ormanda büyük bir dev yaşıyor.
The giant is very tall and very strong.
Dev çok uzun ve çok güçlüdür.
He is wearing big magic boots today.
Bugün büyük sihirli çizmeler giyiyor.
The giant sees the boys and he shouts loudly.
Dev çocukları görür ve yüksek sesle bağırır.
"I am hungry! Why are you in my forest?" he asks.
"Açım! Neden ormanımdasınız?" diye sorar.
Little Thumb is not scared now.
Little Thumb artık korkmuş değildir.
He quickly hides behind a big rock.
Hızlıca büyük bir kayanın arkasına saklanır.
He takes the giant's magic boots and runs fast.
Devin sihirli çizmelerini alır ve hızla koşar.
The magic boots are helping him run very quickly.
Sihirli çizmeler çok hızlı koşmasına yardımcı olur.
The giant is angry but he cannot catch Little Thumb.
Dev kızgındır ama Little Thumb'ı yakalayamaz.
Little Thumb and his brothers are safe now.
Little Thumb ve kardeşleri artık güvendedir.
They are running home together and they are very happy.
Birlikte eve koşuyorlar ve çok mutlular.
"You are so brave!" says his oldest brother.
"Çok cesursun!" der en büyük kardeşi.
Little Thumb smiles because his family is safe and happy.
